Public Dog Training Classes serving San Bruno, San Mateo, Foster City, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont and the Greater San Francisco Bay Area since 1953

San Mateo Dog Training Club (SMDTC) is a licensed member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and has been offering a full range of dog training classes since 1957.  Our classes range from puppy class all the way through AKC competition classes.  But if all you want is a well behaved, well manned dogs, SMDTC can help you with that too.

Our trainers are well-versed in the areas of dog obedience and have, on the average, over 20+ years of experience each.  Our Puppy Class instructor specializes in early puppyhood education and has taught on the Peninsula for over 21 years.   Our obedience instructors show their dogs in AKC obedience trials as well as judge in AKC trials.  Our conformation instructor has 25 years in the show ring and over 15 years instructing owners on how to show their own dogs.

MONTHLY COMPETITION RUNTHROUGHS!

From 7-10:00pm on the above dates, we will offer Novice, Open and Utility runthroughs. Times for each class level will rotate monthly. You must email the facilitator by the Wednesday prior to runthrough night to be included. Email rsleithmd@sbcglobal.net for more details.
